Y4 Hansel and Gretel Project
On Monday, year 4 finished their English topic about Hansel and Gretel which started with an investigation of the gingerbread house and the relating evidence, took them through writing witness statements and creating arguments and ended with a mock trial where 4J defended Hansel and Gretel against claims that they had acted maliciously whilst 4P prosecuted them. The jury's verdict was that Hansel was innocent but Gretel was guilty. Many thanks to Kelly who was our judge and Sophie and Mr Miles who assisted the jury in making their decision. Year 4 could make fine lawyers one day!
